Stranger Things

In this project, I was tasked to recreate the opening title sequence to “Stranger Things”.

In this sequence, the stage is simplistic in that the background is a dark shade of red, the letters and borders are transparent and the outlines shine a neon red. This creates an ominous tone for the audience. The letters slide in from different directions at different speeds and timings. To recreate this title sequence, I created key frames on the letters transformation controllers and spread them out off screen and made second key frames with all the letters in position to spell the title. In order to create the illusion of the title zooming out, I also added key frames on the scale controllers and had the letters progressively scale down as time went on.
